Training

Training is another cornerstone of the Security Pros model. Our in-house instructors—certified by Oregon’s Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST)—bring many years of hands-on security experience. Through our internal training program, Security Pros University™, we invest in the professional growth of every officer, equipping them with the tools, insight, and accountability to perform with excellence.

Every member of our team goes through a rigorous selection process that includes pre-employment drug testing, in-depth orientation, and site-specific instruction. Once in the field, our officers are supported by clear expectations, high appearance standards, and strong supervision. The result? In fact, the City of Bend has enacted a specific ordinance to prevent security companies from appearing too similar to police departments. We were already in full compliance before it passed.
